Our short but jam packed tour taking in some of the best roads in North west Thailand and off road where first timers to the joy of off roading can benefit form our teams experience picking up some tips and techniques along the way.  Hill tribes of Thailand, Thailand's highest mountain, the famous Mae Hong Son loop and 2 night Chiang Mai night tour.

Day 1: Meet & Greet

Arrive Chiang Mai where you will be met by our team and taken to your city hotel. As this tour is an extension to our Golden Triangle Tour more than likely you will be joining a group that have just returned from riding some of which will be continuing on this tour extension and some who will be departing in the morning.  Usually in these situations when we have groups passing each other makes for an interesting night on the town this evening with fine food and usually a  beer or two to celebrate your arrival or to wish a safe travel for the guys leaving.

Day 2: Thailand's highest mountain

A short but awesome ride today to the top of Thailand's highest mountain 2565 meters above sea level.  With just a small fraction of main highway riding the majority of our ride will be on perfectly smooth tarmac with glorious sweeping bends and extremely tight twisty back roads.  Today you will recieve your obligatory photo under the "Highest point in Thailand" sign before making our way back down 2300 meters for our night accommodation at the base of the mountain.

Extension Day 3:  Lets off road

Our ride today takes us through the spine of Mae Hong Son province one of Thailand least populous regions heading deep into the jungle and into Hill tribe territory in the North West of Thailand. Today is our only day of of road riding and classed as 'easy' suitable for most riders with or without off road riding experience but it's not all a walk in the Park so our staff are on hand to offer guidance and techniques for those with little experience.  We are making our way towards the Burmese border to a small town nestled within the valleys of the mountains.

Extension day 4:  Mae Hong Son loop

Early start today for a morning of caving into the Famous Tham lod Cave followed by a barbecue brunch preparing us for a 200 kilometer stretch of one of the top biking roads in the World.  A roller coaster of a ride weaving over and around a multitude of mountain peaks heading back into Chiang Mai city.  We arrive back into the city at around 5 pm.  Our staff are on hand to escort you around the city and sample some of the best food in Thailand and maybe a few beers.

Extension Day 5:  Depart for Airport
